Mitt Romney has had his “Bittergate” moment, and the fundraiser where someone ran a hidden video camera while the former Governor of Massachusetts basically ran his mouth about everything from “Obama Voters” to Latinos has hit the news cycle today, and threatens a GOP Presidential Campaign that’s already off the rails, thanks to a terrible Republican National Convention.

When this blogger saw Mother Jones‘ David Corn walking through the press room at Time Warner Center during the Democratic National Convention, I thought “He looks awfully happy.” Now I know why.

According to his article in Mother Jones, and the video that is on the Mother Jones YouTube page, Romney has true contempt for anyone who backs President Barack Obama, and this is what he said about them:

There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax.

What’s interesting about that statement is Governor Romney has himself been dependent on government for his salary as Gov of Mass, he’s worked to pay as little taxes as possible, and in crafting a health care bill that was the model for Obamacare, seems to think he’s entitled to health care, not to mention the many homes he owns. How’s that for foot-in-mouth disease?

Here’s one of the Mother Jones videos:

And here’s a video where Romney says he’d wish he’d been born Latino – this one is damaging:

And that’s not all. Earlier in this phase of the Presidential Campaign, this blogger uncovered a set of videos where GOP Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan used a racist term “Anchor Babies” and after allowing a white male constituent to use it, but then verbally blasting a woman who said she was upset that such racism was allowed, and that after Ryan said he would listen to everyone. Ryan has a habit of shouting down women – or jailing them at his speaking events when they don’t agree with him.
