Malachi Throne passed at 84 late Thursday night, and this really hit me hard because, as you can see, I met him. In fact, I interviewed him twice.
Mr. Throne was a regular at WonderCon, where I met him in 2010, and then saw him again in 2011, when the event was in San Francisco. When I went to Anaheim, I totally missed seeing him because he didn’t come down. I now realize that he wasn’t in good enough shape to make the trip.
The star of It Takes A Thief, and perhaps more guest star roles than any actor in television, Mr. Throne was a true legend and part of both the WonderCon, and of course, the Star Trek family.
