Steve Jobs movies planned already? While it’s a logical expectation, I really didn’t think that would happen to quickly. We’re all still getting over the fact that the legendary visionary genius and SF Bay Area local isn’t with us to make “insanely great” products any more, and already its announced that Ashton Kutcher’s set to play Steve Jobs in a movie called Jobs, and that it’s one of two films in development about Steve.

Wild.

But with all that, it does make total sense for Ashton Kutcher to play Steve Jobs. Heck, Mr. Kutcher looks a lot like him, and with his tech investments and visits to tech conferences, at least has some taste of what Jobs’ environment is like.

According to Variety‘s Jeff Sneider, who broke the story, Ashton Kutcher will star, Joshua Michael Stern (Swing Vote) will direct from a script by Matt Whiteley, and Five Star Institute’s Mark Hulme will pay for and produce the movie. It will be made while Kutcher’s on break from filming episodes of Two and a Half Men.
