Houston construction falls through first four months Chron

Construction is down in the Houston area, according to Dodge Data & Analytics. Nonresidential construction spending fell 25 percent year over year through the first four months of 2019; residential construction fell 20 percent during the period. “Last year, we had some pretty big chemical plants permitted,” said Patrick Jankowski, senior vice president of research for the Greater Houston Partnership.
