“I Dream A Dream” Sang At The Alley Oakland

The Alley Oakland is a piano bar and restaurant at 3325 Grand Avenue, that’s known for the tradition of regular people singing show tunes and songs.

That was started by the late Rod Dibble in 1960, and continues beyond his passing of just over a year ago, to this day.

A person can pick a song with lyrics from one of the books around the piano, wait their turn in the clockwise order, and then tell the piano player what they picked, and then belt it out!
