Senator John McCain Dies At 81, and America is in mourning. The Arizona Senator was a person who worked to get both Republicans and Democrats to come together and solve the major problems of our day. There are scores of examples of John McCain going against his own Republican Party and siding with Democrats on issues.
And McCain did not take the bait and side with conservatives who believed that then Senator and Presidential Candidate Barack Obama was Muslim.
There is even a famous moment where a woman tried to says that at one of McCain’s rallies and the Senator took the mic from her. That was a big deal moment for me. I became a fan of John McCain. America will miss John McCain, and as much as I hate to say this , there are few like him, even though there should be many more like him.
