Angela Alioto Makes It Official
‘She’s the One’
Former President of the Board of Supervisors, Civil Rights Attorney and small business owner, Angela Alioto; will officially file her nomination papers for the position of Mayor of San Francisco, tomorrow at the Department of Elections, Thursday, January 4th, 2018 at 11am.
Alioto, a strong advocate for the underserved, and former Homeless Czar for Mayor Gavin Newsom, plans to make solving the Homeless crisis in San Francisco a major cornerstone of her campaign.
The former Board President, also plans to address the diminished access to affordable housing in San Francisco balancing the needs of all renters, while still respecting the rights of homeowners.
The leading Civil Rights Attorney intends to be a Mayor to all San Franciscans. As a consensus builder, she will bring all parties to the table to solve critical quality of life issues facing the citizens of San Francisco.
As the most qualified, accomplished and capable woman running for Mayor, Alioto stresses that her time is now, that there has been only 1 woman who served as Mayor in the 168-year political history of San Francisco, and that women, Diane Feinstein, was elected Mayor over 30 years ago.
With the filing of her official candidacy, Angela Alioto, said, “I have a passion and love for this City that literally runs through my veins. I have given my life to serving the City I love so much. I feel I’m the most qualified person to take on the vast number of problems facing our City, and I know I’m the candidate that can bring all the stakeholders together to truly address the issues in front of us, as well as the resources and plans to solve these critical problems.”
Alioto pointed out her Campaign Team is fully in place. She recognizes the importance of campaigning hard, successfully, and being able to move forward, and take on the most important job of becoming San Francisco’s next elected Mayor.
