Was Logan Paul Encouraged To Make Viral Video To Indirectly Promote YouTube Red Movie The Thining?

Logan Paul made a video in Japan that showed the aftermath of someone who tried to take their own life. While Logan Paul, who has a large YouTube following, took the video down, the result is his name has been one of the top Worldwide Trends on Twitter.

While it looks like a mistake, I am starting to think it was not. You see, Logan Paul was in a little known online movie called “The Thining” and was released in 2015. Prior to his YouTube growth as a popular Vlogger, Paul was a Vine celeb with a large following.

At first, the movie was bought by Legendary Digital Media in late 2015. But it was not until YouTube itself bought the movie in 2016 that we got a new trailer played on YouTube as a prevideo commercial many times a day. Then in November of 2017, Logan Paul announced their would be a sequel to the poorly reviewed movie.

Now, we have Logan Paul doing this so called mistake which just happens to make him a household name in social media. So now you will see the ads for The Thining and be more likely to know who Logan Paul is.

Looks like YouTube could have done that. Wow. Stay tuned.
