Karlie Hay Miss Teen USA Use Of N-Word Wasn’t Racist And Here’s Why

A lot has been made of Miss Teen USA Katie Hay’s use of the N-word on Twitter a few years ago. I naturally expected to see evidence of some white supremacist who calls blacks by that word.

But the tweets show Hay was only trying to speak as if she were black, or what she thinks is acceptable black lingo. The problem is many blacks use the word in that way and in Hip Hop Music, which is wildly popular with white teenage girls.

So this was the result.

But racist? No.

We need to have a national talk about this. ASAP.
