Prince died April 21st of 2016, and now Muhammad Ali passed away tonight, June 3rd 2016. Two icons who had a major impact on American Culture have passed within two months of each other.
And, as you can see, they met.
Prince said that Ali was “his hero” and met the man who he looked up to in 1997 and just before a press conference where they all announced plans to promote tolerance and understanding, the themes of Ali’s then new book, Healing.
