The First Twerk ever was done February 3 2007 at the Playboy Super Bowl Party at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. There was a woman in the high VIP deck who was standing on something and doing what we now call the Twerk. Only this was 9 years ago!
The Twerk didn’t start until around 2011 and with the emergence of social media.
