College Football Playoff: Alabama, Oklahoma, Stanford, Clemson – Video

The last games of the college football regular season are complete and with the exception of Michigan State beating Iowa, all went almost as expected. The one real divider here is strength of schedule and it’s for that reason that I say Alabama, Oklahoma, Stanford, and Clemson should play for the national championship.

Of them Alabama had the fifth hardest schedule in the nation. Next was Stanford at 17 but Oklahoma was close at 20 and had one loss. Clemson is way down at 47 and Michigan State at 53 – both teams had cupcakes on their schedules that Stanford lacked. Arguably The Cardinal would have went undefeated with the Wooferd Terriors and Western Michigan Broncos on their playlist, too.

The teams with the hardest schedules who won their conference championships should be represented and that is what is happening here.

The Pac-12 and the SEC should play as well. It’s a crime that has not happened.

Stay tuned.
