The Michael Brown Shooting has given rise to this Ferguson, Missouri livestream broadcast that’s going on now. As I post this, it’s 3:23 AM EST / 2:53 AM CST, and Ferguson, Missouri is on central standard time. I could not help but note all of the people just milling around.

It reminds me of the scene around Downtown Oakland after both the Oscar Grant Murder and the Occupy Oakland demonstrations: people just walking around, many with smartphones, there to record whatever happens, but then being part of what’s happening, because there’s really nothing else happening.

Get it?

But then, there’s a standoff and people are out looting. And now, I think that Michael Brown store video was released by the St. Louis Police Chief (who has the Confederate flag in his house) just to stir up the Ferguson, Missouri black population.

Here’s Tim Pool’s live stream:

Stay tuned.
