This is the Transbay Transit Center Construction Update for February 3rd – Feb 9th 2013.

Weekday Work (02/03/14 – 02/07/14):
Project Construction Hours of Work: 24 Hours a Day
Western Transit Center Site (Between First and Second Streets): This
week between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM there will be installation of
rebar and electrical conduits, concrete preparation activities, concrete pours,
and the rigging, removal and reinstallation of cross lot steel bracing.
Throughout the week there will be general construction clean-up, deliveries
and maintenance activities between the hours of 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM. We
expect this work to have minimal impact to the surrounding neighbors.

This week material deliveries and unloading are scheduled between the hours
of 5:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Central Transit Center Site (Between Fremont and First Streets): This
week between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM there will be installation of
rebar and electrical conduits, concrete preparation activities, concrete pours,
and the rigging, removal and reinstallation of cross lot steel bracing. Under
slab geothermal piping and grounding is also being installed this week.
Throughout the week there will be general construction clean-up, deliveries
and maintenance activities between the hours of 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM. We
expect this work to have minimal impact to the surrounding neighbors.
This week material deliveries and unloading are scheduled between the hours
of 5:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Eastern Transit Center Site (Between Beale and Fremont Streets): This
week between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM there will be excavation,
and off haul of materials.
Micropile drilling and testing will occur for 24 hours a day Monday through
Friday.
Throughout the week there will be general construction and maintenance
activities between the hours of 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM.
Mission Street – Hours of Work: 7:30 PM – 5:30 AM
Mission Street (Main Street to Beale Street): Mission Street traffic may be
impacted occasionally during construction of the underground auxiliary water
supply system.
The work is scheduled Monday through Friday nights between the hours of
7:30 PM to the next morning at 5:30 AM.
This work has been coordinated with MUNI operations and must be
performed at night.
Impact tools and cutting of asphalt concrete has been performed in advance
due to noise permit requirements. Construction flaggers and SFPD will be
assigned during peak hours to assist with traffic and pedestrians.
What to Expect Next Weekend (Saturday 02/08/14 – Sunday 02/09/14):
Western Transit Center Site (Between First and Second Streets): On Saturday, February 8
between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM there will be installation of rebar and electrical conduits,
concrete preparation activities, concrete pours, and the rigging, removal and reinstallation of
cross lot steel bracing. We expect this work to have minimal impact to the surrounding
neighbors.
There is no construction work scheduled for Sunday.

Central Transit Center Site (Between Fremont and First Streets): On Saturday, February
8 between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM there will be installation of rebar and electrical conduits,
concrete preparation activities, concrete pours, and the rigging, removal and reinstallation of
cross lot steel bracing. We expect this work to have minimal impact to the surrounding
neighbors.
There is no construction work scheduled for Sunday.

8 between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM there will be excavation, off haul of soils and materials, and
micropile drilling and testing. There will be general construction and clean-up activities until
8:00 PM.
There is no construction work scheduled for Sunday.
Detours, Street and Sidewalk Closures:
Some surrounding streets in the area may be affected, in this instance construction flaggers
and SFPD will be assigned to assist drivers and pedestrians during peak hours.
So you can plan ahead, please review the affected streets below:
Mission Street (Main Street to Beale Street): Mission Street traffic may be impacted
