Brendan Bigelow, the Cal Football running back who dazzled California students, alumns, and the nation with his amazing 2012 performance against Ohio State, will join 102 other NCAA college football players who were granted “special eligibility” for the NFL Draft. He leaves with 871 total yards and five touchdowns, and was Cal’s leading rusher in 2013 with 421 yards and two touchdowns. Brendan also has 1,363 in kick returns over his college career.

Personally, I see his point, as Cal Head Coach Sonny Dykes failed to design the offense around Brenden, forcing him and others into a system where Cal was slow to pick up the vertical set blocking scheme and his running suffered because of it. I pointed to that in my video on Cal’s opening day loss to Northwestern:

But, with his old coach Jeff Tedford now the offensive coordinator for The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brenden stands a better chance of landing a spot in the NFL.

David Yankey of Stanford is one of the standout offensive linemen in college football. David Yankey is 6’5 313 lbs, and will certainly shift the list of top offensive guards in the 2014 NFL Draft. He’s every bit as good as Notre Dame Guard Zack Martin, the current 4th ranked best guard in the 2014 NFL Draft at 6’4, 304.

Here’s the overall list, and with more reports on players who are on it:
