Pinewood Studios Atlanta, Fayetteville, GA has reached several major construction milestones on its way to an anticipated January 2014 opening.
The sprawling entertainment production complex, the latest in a group of new buildings the UK-based makers of the James Bond movies have built around the World, and which takes up 300 acres of land just next to Piedmont Fayette Hospital, will be Georgia’s largest movie sound stage when it’s finished.
Already, reports are that Pinewood Studios Atlanta, Fayetteville has secured its first movie production deal, and with an as yet unnamed ‘block buster movie’ with a budget in the range of $150 million. Moreover, this blogger’s visit to the site on Sunday, December 8th, and the third such trip to make a vlog on its progress, showed a lot more that has been added since the last video.

From little additions like the wood fence around the property, to major additions like paved roads and parking lots, and in-between ads like street light fixtures and a guard house, the movie-making facility is taking shape rapidly.
