BatKid-7-000-People-Come-Together-to-Give-Boy-With-Leukemia-BatMan-Day “Batkid” is Miles Scott, just five-years-old and fighting a winning battle against leukemia. But all Miles really wanted to do in life was be Batman and save people in San Francisco.

So, in making Miles’ dream come true, the Make-A-Wish Foundation proved that there really are far more good people around than bad – all you have to do is call on them.

Thousands of people came out to see Batkid rescue the woman in distress, foil a bank robbery, and win the hearts and minds of Gotham City.

The Make-A-Wish Bay Area Foundation is to be congratulated for assembling a coordinated effort that included not just thousands of people but the San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee and San Francisco Chief Of Police Greg Shur.

Later, actor Stephen Amell who plays The Arrow, thanked Batkid for all of his work:

What’s amazing is that Miles has a constant social media reminder of this incredible day!

Stay tuned.
