Damon Bruce, who was allegedly suspended by KNBR for anti-women-sports broadcaster comments his made last Thursday, confirmed the suspension to Julie Buehler, who was trying to get him on her popular sports talk radio show in Palm Springs at KXPS Radio 1010 AM.

According to Buehler, Bruce said he would come on “as soon as his suspension is over.” That mean’s he was, indeed, suspended by KNBR. But, Buehler reported to me, he didn’t say when his suspension would be over.

It’s obvious, then, that the radio station is trying to keep the action a secret, but in this hyper-social-media World, that’s impossible, given the already public issue of what Bruce said.
