The Kendrick Johnson story has reached Google Trends status, and for good reason: after he died, which was declared an accident related to the use of climbing ropes, his body was found inside a rolled-up cheerleading mat and someone took his organs out of his body and replaced them with newspaper.

It’s also put 57,000 person Valdosta, Georgia, a town three hours drive south of Atlanta, on the map, and in a bad way.

There was no investigation regarding Kendrick Johnson’s death, and CNN’s Victor Blackwell report videos show there was blood on the walls of the gym. That, in itself, should be considered cause for alarm.

The Lowndes High School (Valdosta, Georgia) athlete was found dead in the high school gym on January 11th of 2013.

The the autopsy was done by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), which told CNN that it returned all of the organs to the body before sending it to the funeral home for burial. But get this: the funeral home director wrote a letter to the Johnsons saying that he never received the organs from GBI.

For some strange reason the wheels of Georgia justice are not turning at all in this story, and it’s an embarrassment to the state of Georgia.

It makes it look like Georgia law enforcement officials didn’t spend a lot of time investigating the death of Kendrick Johnson because he’s a black boy and not a white girl.

Stay tuned.
