Miley Cyrus has used twerking to reach levels of consistent buzz generation for one year, and more so than any entertainer I’ve ever witnessed in my years in Digital Media.
As host of Saturday Night Live, Miley Cyrus made fun of her twerking on the MTV VMAs, and performed a skit making fun of former Congressional Representative Michelle Bachmann. In all, the SNL episode gained a 4.5 rating in the metered-market households and a 2.7 in the adults 18-49, sustaining a 30 minutes-late start because of the football game before it.
