Miriam Carey. Already, there’s something real strange about the story of an unarmed black woman IDed by her license plate, not her driver’s license (is it her car?) and shot by Washington DC Capitol Police, rather than either shooting her tires, or figuring out some other kind of way to stop the 34-year-old mother that did not involve killing her.
This story seems strange.
And who is Miriam Carey? Is that her name? How is it that we know so little about a woman who’s a Mom? Who’s the father? Where are her parents?
Something is wrong here.
