Juror B29 says Trayvon Martin was murdered by George Zimmerman
Just a week on the heels of the first juror to come forward and express her view of the George Zimmerman Trial verdict, another juror, this one who calls herself “Maddy,” and was officially designated “Juror B29,” has shown her face in public to say that Trayvon Martin was murdered by George Zimmerman.
Her statement, made to Robin Roberts’ of ABC’s Good Morning America today (Thursday), took many observers by surprise, and officially plunged the verdict and Florida law into a new round of controversy.
Between President Obama’s statement that he could have been Trayvon Martin 35 years ago, and Juror B29’s comments on Thursday, it’s beginning to look like the George Zimmerman Trial verdict will be regarded as one that’s tainted by Florida’s racism.
