Sabine Lisicki’s popularity has reached meteoric heights after her third Wimbledon win against Agnieszka Radwanska, this week, and after a stunning upset of Serena Williams Monday, and then a quick beat-down on Kaia Kanepi the very next day. Now, the British press calls her Super-Sab, and the search trends point to interest in hot photos of Sabine Lisicki and who her boyfriend is.

In this video, I said she preferred to keep her private life, private, then I speculated that she may not have a boyfriend.

Lisicki`s boyfriend is German swimmer Benjamin Starke. That`s a common known fact over here in Germany, at least among Tennis fans and readers of the German tabloids 🙂

Benjamin Starke, who was in the London Olympics in 2012, was linked to Sabine Lisicki during that period. But the evidence for that points to 2012, not anything for 2013. Moreover, the Twitter account that fans use to point to some relationship between them, @benstarke , is now gone.

Benjamin Starke is off Twitter as of this writing, and his Facebook page is gone.

Moreover, Sabine, too, was in the London Olympics, and lost to Maria Sharapova in a match that was a revenge game for Lisicki beating her at Wimbledon 2012. So it may be that the pair were just one of a number of London Olympics hookups, if that. It’s clear they were identified as a pair during the London Olympics, and one of a few athletic couples the German media seemed to fancy.

But are Sabine and Ben dating? Not according to the publication Berliner Morgensport, which said the relationship “cooled.” And it may have been impacted by some other hookups at the London Olympics. Maybe one of them saw the other with another athlete? That’s my bet.

Whatever the case, for now, Sabine Lisicki’s without a steady boyfriend and single – hopefully ready to mingle.

Now, for those of you who may be hoping that Sabine was lesbian, there’s no evidence of that. But there’s plenty evidence to suggest that Benjamin Starke retired from swimming. There’s no active web presence about him, from him – nothing.
