Aaron Hernandez, the Tight End for The New England Patriots and former Florida Gator, was just arrested at his home outside of Boston, according to TMZ, which broke the story. He was escorted out of his house in hancuffs by two police officers.

Aaron Hernandez has been a key suspect in the death of Odin Lloyd, a semi-pro football player and friend of his to the point where Lloyd was the boyfriend of the sister of Hernandez’s fiancée.

Lloyd’s body was found in a park, not far from Hernandez mansion in the town of North Attleborough, Mass. According to reports, it looked as if Lloyd had been shot in the back of the head.

As to what charges he was taken away under, that’s not known. The Massachusetts State Police arrested Aaron Hernandez and his arraignment is set to start today. Speculation is that he could be charged with obstruction of justice, but nothing’s clear as of this writing.

Stay tuned.
