Community Meeting: AC Transit Proposed Bus Staging

AC Transit is operating from the Transbay Temporary Terminal during construction of the future Transbay Transit Center. AC Transit uses a lot near the terminal and on‐street parking areas to stage its buses in preparation for the evening commute Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. A new construction project scheduled to begin this fall will require AC Transit to vacate the parking lot it is currently using and find another alternative.

In an effort find an alternative staging location, AC Transit has consulted with the Transbay Joint Powers Authority and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) to evaluate potential staging options. A public meeting will be held to present this proposal and request public comment on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at 6 p.m., at 201 Mission Street, Suite 2100.

Stay tuned.
