Serena Williams beat Maria Sherapova in straight sets 6-4, 6-4, to take the 2013 French Open.

And while Maria Sherapova worked to make a game of it, really, it was no contest. The first-time-since-1995-pairing of number one and number two in Women’s Tennis ended with Williams winning at Roland Garros for the first time since 2002.
