UPDATE: Hope Solo Brings Jerramy Stevens To USA V. Germany Soccer Match
Jerramy Stevens and Hope Solo can celebrate as for the first time in over a decade, and going back to 1997, he has no legal troubles hanging over his head.
Guys, that’s a testament to finding the right woman to stick by you.
Jerramy Stevens and Hope Solo were married last October, after two months of dating, and with a ton of controversy first because of the alleged fight that happened the night before, and second because Hope just plain shocked the shit out of every guy who thought they had a chance to date her – as the Zennie62 video from that time shows:
The former tight end for the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers was arrested in October in Kirkland, Wash., and charged with domestic abuse after an altercation at a party at Hope Solo’s home, just the day before the pair were to be married. Evetually, the charges was dropped due to lack of evidence.
But then it seemed Stevens, who went to the University of Washington, was snake-bitten. Just a month later, he was wrongly jailed in Tampa and charged with violating his probation that was already active, as a result of the October incident, even though there was no evidence to back the claims made.
The 33-year-old Mr. Stevens was put on probation through October 2013 for a marijuana charge back in 2010. Ann Howard, director of communications at the Florida Department of Corrections said he had permission to travel to Washington, as a result of his marriage to Ms. Solo.
Stevens’ lawyer, Mark J. O’Brien said that on Wednesday of last week, Jerramy’s probation was terminated – his legal issues are gone!
Now, as to next steps, like trying a comeback to the NFL, only Jerramy Stevens knows the answer to that question. But congratulations to him, as it’s nice to see the sad and unnecessary cloud that was hanging over him, and unjustly so in the most recent case, gone.
