occupy_oakland_AP111101138084_620x350This came up via a search, but from the looks of this, someone placed the KTVU version of story of the Oakland City Auditor’s Report called “Non‐Interference in Administrative Affairs
Performance Audit FY 2009‐10 – FY 2011‐12,” and which this blogger has called racist, on a website specifically dedicated to racism against African Americans called “Chimpout.”

This is a horrible place, which posts this message:

Welcome to Chimpout. A black plague is descending upon civilization. That plague is called the nigger. Here at Chimpout we provide up to the minute nigger facts and news stories that are either covered up or buried by the mainstream media. Everything you read here is the truth, gleaned from worldwide sources.

Our message is simple. Niggers are a cancer upon human society.

You will find true stories of brutal nigger rapes, murders and other anti-social behavior, along with a healthy dose of general nigger stupidity that largely goes unreported by the big media outlets.

Sit back, read up and find out the true nature of the nigger, be prepared to laugh, cry and become furious as you discover the on going destruction and mayhem caused by niggers.

We are not a white supremacist site here at Chimpout. We welcome all races, creeds, and colors……just no niggers.

The website’s title of the post thread reads “More official nigger corruption in Oakland.” It was placed there by a “YTISFEDUP” who calls him or herself the “Chain Gang Foreman,” and this person used the direct quotes from the KTVU web post,

OAKLAND, Calif. — Two elected Oakland city officials have violated the city’s charter by interfering with the bidding process for a major construction project and may face charges, according to a report issued Thursday by Oakland City Auditor Courtney Ruby.
Ruby said she plans to turn over the results of the audit – triggered by questions surrounding Oakland’s efforts to redevelop the now closed Oakland Army Base – to the district attorney’s office and to the state Fair Political Practices Commission.
Those two bodies will determine what – if any – charges may be faced by Oakland Councilwoman Desley Brooks and Councilman Larry Reid.
In her audit, Ruby found Brooks had violated the charter 12 times and Reid once. The audit also uncovered one violation by a person on Reid’s staff who tried to fix parking tickets.
When asked about the audit results, Brooks denied any wrongdoing.
“The information she is provided is not accurate,” Brooks told KTVU. “Time will tell.
Reid, meanwhile, questioned why the audit only targeted the two African American members of the council.
Other violations included a Brooks interfering in the operations of two recreation centers and threatening to have an employee removed from a project.
The audit confirmed interference at the Rainbow Teen Center by Brooks who selected contractors to provide services, as well as negotiated the agreements and established the contract terms for the City.
Additionally, the audit found Brooks pressured staff to get a vendor paid immediately, set project deadlines, and hired nine individuals to work at the recreation center.
Further, the individuals began working at the recreation center despite their lack of drug and criminal screening – requirements mandated prior to working with children and youth.

…and leaves it for others to comment. To no surprise, the comments are racist toward blacks.

That is why I have said the report by Courtney Ruby is racist: while it blames Oakland Councilmembers Desley Brooks (District 6) and Councilmember Larry Reid (District 7) of violating the Oakland City Charter’s Section 218, the report also says it found examples of the same violations by “multiple councilmembers,” yet fails to name those people. At the time of the study period, only two of Oakland’s eight councilmembers were black: Reid and Brooks. Moreover, the study was released on the same week that former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kirkpatrick was convicted of civic corruption. Was that intentional?

As for the poster of the KTVU item on the racist message board, this “YTISFEDUP” person says they’re have been on that site since Nov 2008 and the location is “Location Land of fruits and nuts (SF Bay Area),” and they’ve posted “Posts 7,127” times.

That’s scary to know that someone, perhaps in Oakland, has this view of African Americans that they would post the KTVU report on a racist message board.

But in looking at “YTISFEDUP” many posts, most of them concern news not just in the Bay Area, but focused on Oakland and East Bay area. The racist lurks among us in Oakland.

Why post this? Look. The first time I saw I, I wanted to ignore it, but I could not get the content out of my mind. I wanted to know who put it there, and why an Oakland issue would wind up on a community message board like that one.

I now wonder who “YTISFEDUP” is. I certainly hope that person doesn’t work in city government.

But this shows how it’s important for public officials to handle public information with care and with restraint. Courtney Ruby’s report lit this match and started this racist fire, and it has to be put out.

The best way, at this point, is for Ruby to release the names of the other councilmembers.

Stay tuned.
