Nkki Reed’s in SNAP
SNAP, the movie set to premier Monday night, March 11th at SXSW at the Alamo 1 in Austin, Texas, is one of those flicks that looks like you’re either going to really love it or really hate it. Take a look at this summary:

Jim is a painfully shy, socially awkward music savant whose inner demons get stirred up when he develops an obsession with Wendy, a young clinical social worker, who is drawn to Jim by her na├»ve desire to save people. His fixation grows more menacing after she rejects his romantic advances and Wendy is forced to seek out the counsel of her mentor, Kevin. Together they attempt to unravel the secrets of Jim’s inner torment before it spirals out of control. A raw psychological thriller set in the underground world of dubstep DJ scene, SNAP takes us on a dark and terrifying journey into the depths of the psychopathic mind as it threatens to explode into horrific violence.

Snap’s trailer doesn’t give you much, but if you pay close attention to it, things look like they have the potential to go very bad for Wendy, played by Nikki Reed (Twilight) and at the hands of the fucked-up Jim, who’s repped by Jake Hoffman (Dustin’s son). Rounding out the cast are Thomas Dekker (Kaboom) and Scott Bakula (Enterprise, Men Of A Certain Age), while SNAP is written by Victor Teran and co-directed by Youssef Delara and Victor Teran. Amir Delara , Ryland Aldrich, Victor Teran and Youssef Delara round out the production team.

SNAP premiers Monday. Check it out, and keep your head!

Stay tuned.
