Mike Silver’s latest work is something of a frank blockbuster, where he openly points to most of the people criticizing his questioning of an obvious racial problem as being “white people.”

Mike is to be rewarded for truly questioning the NFL hiring system, when other journalists are looking the other way, as if the problem doesn’t exist.

As of this writing, all of the open NFL head coaching positions have been filled by white males, including three who have much less experience than a number of African American assistant coaches in the NFL. Mike McCoy, the new HC with the San Diego Chargers, has about one-quarter of the experience of former Oakland Raiders Head Coach Hue Jackson, or current Baltimore Ravens Offensive Coordinator Jim Caldwell, yet the Chargers failed to interview either person.

Stay tuned.
