Thanks to some fans who checked in other places, Hope Solo’s photos with her husband Jerramy Stevens are still up on her WhoSay account. Last week, this space
reported that she took all of her photos of she and her new husband off Twitter – that’s normally a sign that something’s wrong. It’s common for anyone to take such an action with respect to social media, thus the blog post of last week.
But that written, this space did not report a split of any kind, just the Twitter news. Indeed, at the end of this post, I said I could be wrong and maybe she just didn’t want the media exposure. The fact is, Hope had a track record of using social media, well, to be social. Then there was a gap between December 21st and January 10th.

The photos are on her whosay account which is still linked to her twitter. If you scroll through her twitter feed, all the tweets about Jerramy are still there with the photos underneath. Just checked and can still see the thanksgiving pic, the one with them in the ocean and even the one titled “sunny seattle“ a couple of days after their wedding. Her fans have spotted them together over the holidays in washington. They spent time with both their families who live there. Hope shot a commercial for a bank on thursday and friday and from a tweet from one of the make-up artists, Jerramy was on set with her. She continues to wear her wedding ring (seen in a pic on friday) she also wore her ring at the recent fifa awards.
I know you have stuck up for Hope especially during DWTS and are not a hater, so i don’t understand this article. Hope you correct it. It seems Hope has been trying to keep their relationship private out of the media.
All that is good news.
But the lesson here, for any celebrity, is that you don’t have to put something on social media to send a message. Sometimes, taking something down can speak just as loudly as a message, tweet, video, or blog post.
Hope Solo, and other stars, must be careful to think before they act on social media. What’s good for Ms. Solo is she has an active fan base keeping tabs on her in a positive way.
