Here’s my conversation with the former Saturday Night Live star at the Democratic National Convention, where she goes for the “Insult President Obama Playbook” at every occasion.
This time, with the Newtown Shootings, Victoria Jackson, who before the Newtown Shootings posted a photo of herself with an assault weapon that remains as of this writing, has gone too far. On her Facebook page, the so-called Conservative, but I prefer to call “Just Plain Mean,” wrote this:
Obama dramatically wiped a tear as he said, “The majority of those who died today were children — beautiful little kids … They had their entire lives ahead of them — birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own…”
YEAH OBAMA. SAME AS THE MILLION BABIES YOU HAD ABORTED THIS YEAR.
ARE YOU CRYING FOR THEM?!
And that was the catalyst for a ton of angry comments posted to her Facebook Page, as well as an equally large media reaction:

Personally, I have no idea why anyone follows you or even acknowledges you exist, but I’m sure that the parents and families impacted by this tragedy really appreciate your comments and appreciate you making light of such a tragic loss. It’s people like you, the uneducated and thoughtless people of this nation that make life so much worse and create hatred that spreads like a virus. You truly should be ashamed of yourself, I’m sure that if a great tragedy like this ever happened to( beside the tragedy of your career) you that you would be the first one in line to ask for help. You make me sick.

Molly Barbara Loveday I give up- I give up. I can’t help defend against hundreds of stupid childish posts, there’s no way. I’m dismayed and heart broken over our country. I just can’t do it- I don’t have the courage. And Victoria you might as well forget it too- you’re talking to a wall. Might as well, just shut down your FB pages and spend time with your family. I didn’t know I lived in a country that’s so stupid where people don’t even know when life starts in the womb. That society has been numbed down to morals and to what is right and wrong. I’m scared to go out to a mall now- afraid some crook will have a gun. People YOU voted for Obama enjoy your life and your TV’s along with your stupid movies, welfare, and video games. Don’t come crying to us when the bottom drops out from underneath you. Victoria tried to warn you all and you choose to jump her case when she was trying to give you a clue!!!

Then Ms. Jackson doubled-down on the hurtful comments, writing this:
“My friend Jim Riley posted: ‘Wasn’t the Connecticut killer just doing what abortionists do every day? It’s a wonder we don’t have more 20 year old “dads” doing what women and doctors have been an accomplice to for years in America. When you forget the TEN COMMANDMENTS, people, THIS is what you get.'”
As if to imply the children and their parents had it coming.
And the truth is that President Obama had nothing to do with any woman’s choice in getting an abortion, but that’s beside the point. What Victoria did was use the attention Newtown was getting to insult the President and use time that should be going to the victims as going to herself. As long as Victoria gets attention, she doesn’t care how anyone feels.
That’s not Christian.
