When an actress with the celebrity status of Missy Peregrym uses Twitter to announce her desire to meet a man, you know she’s serious. That’s what Missy Peregrym – who would make a great Wonder Woman – has done of late.

The woman who was once linked to Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Rothlisberger and stars on Cybergeddon and on the ABC Police Drama Rookie Blue and Heroes before that, is looking for a man in all of the places, including the gym, where she’s working out with weights in the process:

And if that weren’t enough, Ms. Peregrym, who first hit it big, and this blogger means BIG in 2006 with the movie Stick It (and sending her into super-star-status on Google search trends) sent out this Twitter tweet on November 17th:

But back to Wonder Woman, Missy has said she would like to play the role of Diana Prince:

“Actually, I’ve been pushing for that for so long because I know the guys who are trying to develop it and it’s been forever that they’ve been trying to get this script going. We’ll see what happens, but of course, that would be huge to play that.”

And where “that” is, is Warner Bros has hired Michael Goldenberg to write a script, and since that happened in July, he should have some draft of it out there, by now. If Missy wants to play the role, she should put on a costume, as they’re easy to get, and make a YouTube video of herself in the role. That would be huge.

It would effectively catapult her into the buzz-machine for the movie, and go so viral, Warner Bros would have to be stupid not to pick her. Nothing against the last actress to play Wonder Woman, and in the unaired NBC Pilot, but Missy’s got it.

And that Missy’s without a boyfriend shows you what’s messed-up about us Men today. Er, or, uh…Missy, what’s up, girl? You don’t need to go after the man; let the man come after you.

Stay tuned.
