For a combination of reasons that added up to a perfect storm “San Francisco” became a Worldwide Twitter Top Trend. From a cursory analysis, it appeared as if it was part a Salon article asking if San Francisco had too much tech, the other part San Francisco 49ers QB Alex Smith being fined $15,000 for wearing a San Francisco Giants Baseball Cap, and the final reason any number of observations, episodes, and happenings.
Whatever the case, congrats to the City By The Bay for at least proving that it’s totally wired.
