The search term “Democratic National Convention 2012” is number one in Google Trends as of this writing on Wednesday, September 5th, 2012.
And according to SocialMention, the website app which tracks social media conversations from various platforms including Facebook and Twitter and blogs, Democratic National Convention 2012 is number two behind the ever-present “Airline Baby Ban.”
In fairness, the Republican National Convention did hit this lofty position once during its time on the air last week. The question is how long can it be sustained. From the looks of the massive Twitter response to last night’s speech by First Lady Michelle Obama, this may not be the first time we see Democratic National Convention 2012 at the top of search trends for the week.
