Wow. Ok, this blogger thought he wasn’t going to enjoy the day – just work through it in the bowls of Charlotte’s giant Convention Center. Well, that didn’t happen. (Zennie62 coverage sponsored by Tout.com)
First, it was a great joy of work day – producing content related to the Democratic National Convention, plus the ability to see and talk to and interview old friends like Obama Campaign GOTV Rep Buffy Wicks and former Northern California Obama Campaign Coordinator, now Oakland Lawyer, Eric Casher.
Second, it was awesome to meet all of the new faces, and even to get to know bloggers like Carolina May with The Daly Caller, and delegates like Ray Schindler of Orinda, California.
Third, it was cool to just take my iPhone and cruise around the press floor with it, which is in Hall C, or the basement of the convention center. You can see what I did here:
