Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid lost his oldest son Garrett Reid as he was found dead in his dormitory room at the Eagles Training Camp over the weekend.
This is so hard to report that I can’t believe I’m doing so. Once again this year, I am faced with another example of a parent or parents outliving their kids. I’m totally certain Coach Reid’s wondering if he’s going out of his skull.
We don’t know what happened to Garrett Reid that caused his death – yet. So, let’s not bring up the drug use stuff until we know better, and if that’s not the case when we find out, let’s not dwell on that.
Instead, send your prayers and positive thoughts to Coach Reid.
