Congratulations to pop singer Miley Cyrus, who, at 19, is engaged to wed her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. But this blogger has to say that Miley’s just too young to even think about getting married. Why? Because Ms. Cyrus has not sewn any wild oats. I know that sounds crazy considering her famous and controversial 2010 MTV Teen Choice Awards pole dance act that drew this blogger’s commentary:
Or the famous lap dance she gave to Adam Shankman:
Or the racy clothes she’s worn on more than one occasion. Or, I could go on.
But Miley Cyrus has always seemed like she was in a hurry to grow up, and at some point a person like that accumulates all of the trapping that they think mark being an adult, then they want something more because all of that came too fast.
What we’ve not seen Miley really do is go out and just plain date at an adult age. My prediction is that after two years of marriage she and Liam will either call it quits, or have a more open relationship because Miley’s going to decide to sew some really wild oats. She’s going to be seen out doing something with some other guy and the rumors will fly.
And I’m not saying I want this to happen; I’m only talking from an honest perspective.
