In the latest Oakland News, the hottest and nastiest local California Assembly District race is history, and under the “top two” rule adopted in 2010 as the result of Proposition 14, Alameda Vice Mayor Bonta will face Peralta Board Of Trustees Member Abel Guillen again in November. AC Transit Board Member Joel Young, and the loan Republican representative Rhonda Weber got 18.90 percent and 15.83 percent of the vote, respectively. Here’s the breakdown:
