Carnegie Deli NYC: one of this blogger’s new favorite places to eat! I went there while in New York for the 2012 NFL Draft, and at the suggestion of my buddy, Dr. Bill Chackhes. As you can see from the video, we both had the World Famous Woody Allen Sandwich. But of course, I had to think I could finish the damn thing before I saw it.

That was stupid. I should have waited until I got a look at the creation before opening my mouth, but no. Not at all.

When our waiter brought it over, I thought still I could eat the whole deal in one sitting, but that combo of Corned Beef and Pastrami is more meat that I expected once I dugg in. Wow.

I want another one.

The Carnegie Deli is, as Bill said, one of the four famous New York Delis, and I don’t know what the other three are, so I have to ask Bill, unless you know.

I do know that it’s a long, narrow, homey place to be on 854 7th Avenue New York, NY 10019, at (212) 757-2245. And if you think, hey, I’ve seen that guy on the wall before, it’s Sandy Levine, the current owner.

The Carnegie Deli. While in New York, you must visit it.
