George has a clean back...
From the ABC News video above it must be said that the Sanford Police and George Zimmerman conspired to cover-up evidence that Zimmerman murdered Treyvon Martin and that it was self-defense. The video was obtained by ABC News reporter Matt Guttman @mattgutmanABC who, according to his words in an MSNBC interview, just simply asked Sanford Police for a copy of the surveillance video. Obviously the entire department wasn’t in on the cover-up or Guttman may not have gotten the video at all.

The video shows a well-fit, not fat, Zimmerman getting out of the Sanford Police Chevrolet Impala without assistance, and from all angles not a drop of blood or evidence of a scuffle of any kind. His shaved head is without a bruise, and George Zimmerman himself doesn’t seem to be in any kind of pain.

This flies in the face of Zimmerman and Sanford Police’s claims that it was Treyvon Martin who started the fight and injured Zimmerman, causing George’s back to be dirtied and bloodied – a claim that has been picked up by (for some ungodly reason) conservative blogs like Glenn Beck’s The Blaze , which have worked to smear Martin’s character, saying he was allegedly suspended from school, and then that Zimmerman was bleeding. Good Morning America reported this:

In addition, an eyewitness, 13-year-old Austin Brown, told police he saw a man fitting Zimmerman’s description lying on the grass moaning and crying for help just seconds before he heard the gunshot that killed Martin.
The initial police report noted that Zimmerman was bleeding from the back of the head and nose, and after medical attention it was decided that he was in good enough condition to travel in a police cruiser to the Sanford, Fla., police station for questioning. He was not arrested.

The video shows Zimmmerman getting out of the car and obviously without any signs of “bleeding from the back of the head and nose.”

Thus, from all of this, I must make the statement that this is a cover-up. Moreover, given the involvement of a high level official, it’s a cover-up of the highest order. Indeed, the video also calls into question the role of Joe Oliver, the man who claimed to be a “good friend” of George Zimmerman, and later after heavy questioning my NSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, admitted that he did not know Zimmerman.

State Attorney Norman Wolfinger Involved

The Grio reports via a source that it was Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee, and SPD Capt. Robert O’Connor who elected to release Zimmerman without arrest on February 26th but only after seeking the in-person view of Norman Wolfinger, the Florida State Attorney For Brevard and Seminole Counties.

The Grio reports that Norman Wolfinger arrived on the scene and talked with Lee and O’Connor. Just as Homicide Investigator Chris Serino was all set to charge Zimmerman with manslaughter, Wolfinger’s office asked to have Serino release Zimmerman from custody, and so they let him go free.

Stay tuned.
