Manny
Ok, I’ve not been this excited for the Oakland A’s since the bash-brothers days of Mark MaGuire and Jose Canseco. Former LA Dodger Manny Ramirez, who retired instead of facing a 100-game suspension for alleged drug use, came out of retirement to join the Oakland Athletics, and help bring The World Series to Oakland.

The A’s, seeing his legendary hitting skill and work ethic, brought him back out of the minor leagues and into the lineup for MLB Spring Training.

Manny Ramirez went 0-for-3, but he’s just getting back into the swing of things. Give him time, and he will return to the form the showed three years ago.

Stay tuned.
