The 84th Academy Awards is two weeks away (well just less) and the guessing game of who will win is heating up. In her first official video blog for Zennie62.com, Beverly Rivas picks.. Hugo. Here’s her vlog:

Now Bev’s choice goes against the Oscar’s powerful statistic that the winner of Best Director at the Director’s Guild Awards gets Best Director at the Oscars. And the Best Director winner gets the Oscar for Best Picture about 70 percent of the time. Since in statistics, anything above 66 percent is considered close to a “sure thing,” it’s a sure thing the Oscar Best Picture Award will go to The Artist.
