Did Whitney Houston die from taking the wrong medication or an overdose while in the bathtub of her room at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel? That’s the picture TMZ.com informants are painting as of this writing.

Video of initial news:

Also, Whitney Houston’s body was transported out of the hotel after 11 PM PST, and as the party thrown by music executive Clive Davis was in full swing, although CNN reports that Davis, who discovered Houston, did not attend.

Reportedly there have been no illegal drugs found in the room, but there were prescription drugs. When EMTs arrived, they learned that her body was already taken out of the bathtub, so it will take an autopsy to determine the true cause of her death.

There was also no evidence that Whitney Houston had consumed any kind of alcohol before she died.

Daughter Denied Access At First, Now In Room

TMZ also reports that Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina was denied the chance to see her own mother’s body, as police would not let her into the room. Ironically, only the friends and family members who were already in Ms. Houston’s room when Beverly Hills Police arrived had seen and identified the body as Ms. Houston, but it’s not clear if they were allowed to remain in the room. My guess is they were asked remain for questioning, but that’s just a hypothesis.

Radar Online reports that as of 2 AM PST, Bobbi Kristina did manage to get into the room to pay last respects to her mother – really sad.

Also Radar reports that Clive Davis himself did eventually arrive at his own party, saying “Whitney would have wanted the music to go on, and her family asked that the music go on.”

That’s the odd part about this deal: that a party was going on in the same place a dead body was still in. Moreover, the dead body of Whitney Houston. Why does that seems so wrong to me?

Stay tuned. Sad. Sad. Sad.
