According to CNN on television right at this moment Mitt Romney has won the state of Maine. This is kind of hard to believe due to all the hard work and all the time and effort that the Ron Paul campaign did in Maine! It’s still early so maybe the results will change, but as of right now it is being reported that Mitt Romney has won the Maine caucus. 39% Mitt Romney, 36% Ron Paul. Another state that Paul hasn’t won, Paul needs to win a state if he’s going to stay in the race. Paul took a lot of time and effort into Maine, and it says a lot that he lost, because he did work so hard in Maine.

Romney had 2160 votes to Paul’s 1996. Santorum came in third and Gingrich came in last.
