The planned Occupy Movement / Occupy Wall Street / Occupy Oakland protest at the Port of Oakland’s underway and already the City of Oakland has sent out several press releases that will be posted here.

The Port of Oakland shutdown effort is a wild one because the people who work at the Port aren’t at all rich – they’re part of the 99 percent. None of the unions are in support of this effort, or so the City of Oakland says.

The Port was shut down – no arrests.
