Andrew Luck
The Heisman Finalists were announced Monday, and Stanford’s Andrew Luck, Baylor’s Robert Griffin III, and Alabama’s Trent Richardson lead all of the candidates.

Well, there are five of them: Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Trent Richardson, Tyrann Mathieu and Montee Ball.

But that three of the five are in the lead, and that an ESPN poll revealed no clear favorite, shows just how tight the race is.

But last year, the race was equally tight among fans, with some pulling for Cam Newton, others for Andrew Luck, and still others for Ndamukong Suh, but Newton was in reality the clear voting favorite.

This year, this space picks Andrew Luck:

Luck deserves to win the Heisman, and for his steady high-level of play and excellent leadership.

Stay tuned.
