Conrad Murray
According to TMZ.com, Doctor Conrad Murray will be sentenced at 8:30 AM PDT today, after he was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson on June 20, 2009.

Its known that Conrad Murray’s lawyers are asking for the sentence to be probation, but given the circumstances – the death of Michael Jackson – TMZ seems to think the judges decision could go in any direction. Still, the max he can serve is four years in jail and many blogs think that he will not spend more than a few days in jail given the California budget and prison overcrowding problem, combined with his celebrity status.

What’s vexing in all of this is that Michael Jackson really had more than one doctor: Arnie Klein was the other person who regularly treated MJ. And while there’s nothing to link him directly to Jackson’s passing, if he was such a good friend, why didn’t he check on how Jackson was being treated by Conrad Murray while Jackson was alive?

Just asking.

Stay tuned.
