Ok, this blogger’s not one for small planes, and this regional Mesa Air jet from Dulles to JFK last Thursday didn’t help the cause one bit.
It was the scariest 33 minute plane ride because when one’s close to the window, you feel like there’s nothing but paper between you and the night sky. Add to that turbulence, and the only escape is to go to sleep. Why the airlines insist on these planes is not a mystery – cost – but it would be cool if in this day and age someone created a bigger plane that was as cost effective.
