Yes, the same People Magazine that’s used Hope Solo’s name just ONCE in the TITLE any of it’s articles and blog posts for the ENTIRE month of October. And that was about the ESPN The Magazine nude photo spread.

Other than that, People Magazine has written about Ricky Lake, Chaz Bono and Nancy Grace a whole bunch of times. That leads me to conclude that someone, perhaps with whatever PR company is representing Ricky Lake, Chaz Bono and Nancy Grace, is really spinning People Magazine. Either that, or People Magazine has a vested interest in keeping Hope’s exposure to a low.
I tell ya, something’s wrong. Ok, yes, it’s interesting to know that Ricky Lake’s suddenly randy and practicing “horizontal” as she put it. Of course, it does cause one to wonder if Ms. Lake’s sex life wasn’t all that hot before DWTS. Now, with her husband there to see Lake be swung around, felt-up, and kissed on by another man, coupled with those suddenly amazing legs, you can bet they’re getting busy after the show.
Good for Ricky Lake, but Hope Solo’s legs are still better, gotta say.
The only reason Hope Solo’s still in this contest is her hard work, and fan votes. Hope’s fans, and this blogger’s one of them, can see through the games that are being played at Dancing With The Stars, and against Solo. Why? Because she’s not part of Hollywood – she doesn’t have a high-powered Hollywood agent behind her, and all of the relationships that would cause her to be mentioned more than she is.
Do you realize that TMZ has not ONCE featured Hope Solo in a blog post?
Check it for yourself (as of this writing). TMZ can feature an unknown former Cal Volleyball Star in Morgan Beck, but can’t put a camera in the face of the World’s Best Female Soccer Goalie Hope Solo? And she’s in LA? That’s crazy stuff, man.
It takes Hope’s fans, her improved dancing, and the timely ranting of her dance teacher Maksim Chmerkovskiy last week in complaining about the judges being unfair to Hope, to keep Solo in DWTS. Otherwise, she would have been out, and much to the delight of the Hollywood PR types.
Can you imagine if Dancing With The Stars Season 13 came down to two non-Hollywood types in J.R. Martinez and Hope Solo? Can you say “Occupy Dancing With The Stars?” That’s what it would be, for all practical purposes.
